The dream device that gamers were looking for has arrived at last and in fact Sony Ericsson has done a good job about it. And we all know that Sony is famous for ads and commercials. Usually, they bring in some kind of shock value or wow factor that makes you remember the whole commercial apart from the product publicized. The ads for Sony Ericsson Xperia play are examples. Sony presented a series of ads — some of them were creepy — and now we have some that are on the more humorous and less creepy side.
Most of us can’t forget the disturbing commercial that Sony Ericsson gave some time ago for their Xperia Play. The Xperia Play Android gaming phone was displayed in the commercial that had an Android robot sticking out a thumb. People were curious about how the thumb appeared there in the first place. And then we had a sequel to the commercial that tells you how. The ad was titled “The Donor”, and it continued with creepiness. Talking about creepiness, this is the age of phone tapping devices where we even have creepy ads on the web for stuffs like cell phone listening devices. So some level of creepiness is accepted these days.
And at the moment we have some commercials that aren’t really eerie as it flaunts just the gaming experience in Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and not some creepy thumb. Actually, the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Play commercials have been a great hit. These ads show off some of the capabilities of the Xperia Play in terms of gaming and each of the five videos focus on one particular characteristic. Sony Ericsson has posted these 5 Xperia Play commercial ads on their YouTube channel which is in point of fact dubbed as ‘Pwnage’ staring Kristen Schaal. You can check all of the videos on youtube but be warned that some of them aren’t actually appropriate for kids.
